As for the naming of the site, I don’t have an interesting story. Several years back, during my college days, I was working on a digital portfolio for a class, which required a website (I majored in web design), so I browsed through Pinterest trying to find an interesting name. The search must have been along the lines of “nouns”. It would pull up images of the word and the definition/meaning on some aesthetic background. I found the word “majime” and at the time I felt like I could relate to word. If you google the word you may come up with different definitions but they all had a similar meaning. Basically, “an earnest person, reliable person, who can simply get things done without causing drama.” I thought, yes, I want to be good at my work and not stress about it.
